On the first day of 2023 the border with Croatia “fell” when it became part of Schengen.

The Slovene volleyball team won bronze at the European Championship, and the Slovene football team qualified for the 2024 championship!
The cyclist, Primož Roglič, worked a miracle – his chain fell off his bike, but he still won the Giro d’Italia!

The Slovene politics was characterized by reorganization of the government, ministerial changes, and its influence on the work of the police.
Slovenia was an honored guest of the Frankfurt Book Fair. Master chef, Ana Roš, won three Michelin stars.
The band Joker Out made it to the finals of Eurovision.
The Slovene public was upset by school violence, the capture of nutria, and the mandatory recording of working time.
Also extremely noticeable was a new subculture: limke and gasers!
